Common questions

A receipt read something wrong. Open the receipt, fix the store, date, items or total, and tap Save. You can also tap “Read it again.”

How do I send everything to my tax person? Home → Tax time → choose the year → “Send PDF to my tax person” (or the spreadsheet).

I forgot my password. On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password?” and follow the email.

How do I cancel my subscription? On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Taxcrate. On Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

How do I export or delete my data? In the app: Account → Export my data, or Account → Delete my account.

Is Taxcrate tax advice? No. Write-off labels are suggestions to keep you organized; your tax preparer decides what you can deduct.
